Assefa's blog

Hi! I’m Assefa, a 3rd year Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging at the University of Alberta. I completed my master’s degree in Computer Software from University of Science and Technology (가연구소대학교) in Daejeon, South Korea, and obtained my Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Information Engineering from University of Science and Technology of China (电子科技大学) in Chengdu, China.

I am interested in medical image processing, computer vision, and reinforcement learning. My background spans semantic and instance segmentation, object detection, and out-of-distribution detection.
